W. Fukumoto Orange Seedling

W. Fukumoto is an early-season navel orange seedling for home pot growing or gardens in mild regions. Citrus seedlings in Northern Cyprus can be grown in containers or outdoors according to local conditions.

Key Features

• Supplied at 70–90 cm tall; its size and shape may vary because it is a live plant.
• Similar to Washington orange, but it ripens earlier.
• Produces rounded fruit with dark orange peel and a navel.
• Described as cold-resistant among commercially important citrus varieties.
• Self-pollinating.
• Fruit starts ripening from November to February and may remain on the plant until May.
• The flowers are fragrant. For indoor growing, moving the plant outdoors during flowering is recommended to support pollination.

When grown in a pot, the seedling can be kept by a window at home or in an office.
